i remember in high school a female teacher came up to me and told me that i would have to change my shorts because they were inappropriate and she told me to go to the office or get changed immediately and i told her “i’ll put on pants when the weather stops being above 80 degrees”. She wrote me up and I got a saturday detention and my mom walked right into that office and was like “if you think it’s fucking okay to tell these girls not to wear shorts when it’s well over 80 degrees outside then you’ve got another thing coming. she can come to school in her underwear for all i care. teach your boys to keep it in their pants and stop punishing my daughter because of a goddamn climate change.” needless to say i got out of my saturday detention.
